Michelle, I know that I am still the same person as I was two years ago, but I sure don’t feel that way!
I had been using food to cope for at least 35 years without realizing that that wasn’t actually how a life should be. The media images; the Weight Loss programmes; the general chat around the office – it was all so normal, or so I thought. The event that propelled me to actually acknowledge that something wasn’t right was traumatic and I wish it hadn’t happened. And yet I am so thankful that it did, and that in seeking some relief from the pain, your name and your work were mentioned.
The book, the tools, the opportunity to share experiences with others going through similar experiences, the bi-weekly calls, the handouts, the recordings of your calm voice; everything was fantastic and resonated so deeply with me. It was amazing to read the book and feel that it was written just for me! How did you do that?
My life is so different now. I am so much more open to others. So much braver in the risks I am willing to take and the situations I happily expose myself to. I am excited about the prospect of what lies ahead instead of feeling locked away in a self-made dungeon. I am in love with Yoga!
I am so grateful for everything that you have done for me. I hope that you will continue your wonderful work so that others may also benefit.

I just have to thank you SO much! You do not know how much you have changed my life in the less than 2 short month since I have found your website and on-line program. Since I learned that I use food to cope (I never noticed that, I had always labeled myself with an eating disorder) I have not binged unconsciously. I have used to food to cope, but I have been aware of it, permitted myself to do so and then stop using food to cope before I made myself sick. Tonight’s call was so helpful! I am thrilled that I got to ask you questions and that I now understand the Drill Sargent and myself so much better. I will do my best to use the tools that you provide to help me even more. For the first time in my life I do not feel like a victim that can not change. I do not feel hopeless, but I feel hopeful. Thank you so very much for the Cedric Centre!

“O.K. so I just started the course and I was reading the stuff about the Drill Sergeant (inner critic) and I didn’t actually walk though the entire process. I kept saying “Yah, Yah, that makes sense” and putting off putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard). So then when I started lesson 3 it said to do it before I go any further. So I did it and WOW that was powerful!!! Really, really powerful.”

“A concept from your book that filled me with great hope was that of Natural Eating. I know a few people who eat this way. I have always felt jealous of their “innate ability” to have such a free and easy relationship with food. I thought people were either “born” with the power, or not. When this Online Program was first launched, I procrastinated against joining, and felt hesitant to enter into something that I felt would lock me down – I am a perfectionist, and hate starting something I can’t master.
