Thanks for being the bright light in my life!

I have had years of receiving various forms of bodywork, acupuncture, Reiki, cranial sacral therapy, massage therapy. But never have I experienced such a shift of deep release and energy connection through my body than with my Zero Balancing treatments with Karen Stein. Every session left me more grounded and peaceful with myself and the world.

I used to dread Summer, having to get my shorts and tank tops out of the closest was torture, my body image was so distorted and I was so uncomfortable with the way I looked, I didn't go swimming for a decade, and I have always loved swimming! What a shame. After your retreat I went out and bought a bathing suit then took a refreshing swim at Beaver Lake. Thank you.

Finally. The Seminar to End Emotional Eating

For Immediate Release

April 8 th , 9 th , and 10th 2005 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, The CEDRIC Centre, (Community Eating Disorders and Related Issues Counselling), is hosting its 3 day New Perspective Seminar , $374.50, at The Sandman Hotel Board Room, 2852 Douglas Street, Victoria, BC. To register: 1-250-383-0797.

"This seminar is a perfect fit for people who identify that they have food issues, but don't fit into the category of a clinical eating disorder. Typically, these are men and women who yo-yo diet and don't like their bodies. They feel as if they're constantly battling food," says Michelle Morand, founder and director of The CEDRIC Centre. "The technical term for these people is sub-clinical disordered eating, which is really just a fancy way of describing the relationship that many people have with food and their bodies."

Morand says, "Disliking your body and analyzing every bite of food that goes into your mouth might be extremely common, but it's not normal. Contrary to popular belief, you can have a balanced relationship with food, eat foods you like, and be at a healthy weight, without dieting. It's called Natural Eating, and our seminar in April will show men and women how to eat naturally, and end emotional eating."

The CEDRIC Centre specializes in the treatment of clinical eating disorders and related issues such as anxiety, depression, and distorted body image. They also work with men and women of all ages who have food and body issues that don't meet the clinical criterion for eating disorders, but nevertheless, negatively impact the lives of thousands of men and women.
